Omni Bundle

Demonstrate, research and teach haptics and robotics via compact, economical and safe Sensable haptic device.

The Omni Bundle is an inexpensive and safe way to teach haptics as well as robotics to undergraduate or graduate students. This teaching tool consists of three components: The PHANTOM® Omni haptic device, QUARC® software and a novel combined Robotics-Haptics Curriculum. With the haptic-based exercises provided, students will quickly create basic virtual environments and use this as a basis for design of more complex structures such as Multi-Object environments, Multi-Contact haptic interaction, force feedback enabled tele-operation and cooperative haptics. The Omni Bundle package is the first of its kind to facilitate robotics and haptic technology education through the inviting interface of MATLAB™/Simulink™.
