OVERVIEW |
The first half of the seminar provides an
overview of COMSOL Multiphysics Version 4 - its capabilities,
its new abilities and functionality enhancements, and its new,
more efficient, user interface. This will be of interest to
both new and existing users of COMSOL.
We will emphasize the mechanics of the new model-builder-based
user interface which not only is much more efficient and quick
to use, but also provides new functionality to the user to
modify and quickly adapt models. We will work through a
3-physics coupled example to demonstrate the speed and
efficiency of the new work flow. |

HANDS-ON SESSION |
The second half of the workshop is a hands-on
tutorial in COMSOL Multiphysics. It is directed at both new
and existing users who would like experience with the latest
version of the software. We will set up and solve a simple
analysis designed to make participants quickly proficient in
COMSOL Multiphysics - enabling the participants to use the
included two-week free trial
on their own models.
