TECHNICAL UPDATES
New Developement: The g.Head Stages

The g.HEADstage allows the recording of action potentials with 8 or 16
channels. g.tec now offer this development in 2 different types: The multi-
pin and the golden-pin  headstage.
g.Recorder
With the updated g.Recorder new parameters could be computed now:
compressed spectral rray (CSA), heart-rate and heart-rate variability.

ArcelorMittal Breaks Down the Physics of Corrosion   Maple and MapleSim
Researchers at ArcelorMittel, France, use modeling with COMSOL to better
understand the mechanism behind delamination and underpaint corrosion.
It helps determine that anodic orrosion arises more in products with good
adhesion whereas cathodic is more important in systems with less adhesion.
