Teaching Tools MATLAB & Simulink Day 2011
Lab Equipment Serves Both Students and
Researchers
Teaching and research labs do not need to be two different worlds with two different sets of tools. Just look at Quanser rotary control experiments for example: modularity and comprehensive course materials make these SRV02-based workstations ideal for teaching various control concepts hands-on. Yet their quality, robustness and precision also make them ideal tools for research. Dr. Gadelha from Brazil's National Institute for Space Research used Quanser's Rotary Flexible Link in his research on design of a
flexible satellite attitude controller

Rehab Robot Ready for Trials
 WEBINARS

Helping stroke survivors regain control of their arms and get them back to their normal lives is a task for therapists, as well as... engineers. For a few years the Quanser team has been working closely with researchers from the University of Toronto and the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute to create a robot that can assist in the rehabilitation of stroke victims. Now, with feedback from patients and therapists, the second prototype of the upper limb rehab device is ready for real-world trials.

QUARC Spotlight   Applications  with COMSOL 4.2

Think of All the Time You'll Save

  June 21, 2011, 2:00pm EST
Choosing software for control system design and implementation is critical for successful research and development. That's why we created QUARC - a powerful rapid control prototyping tool that can help you achieve more in less time. Whether you are using Quanser or third-party research platforms, QUARC is the only software that makes it easy to interface with all of them. You can easily communicate with and control KUKA robots, PGR cameras and SensAble Phantom devices, without the need to learn new tools or hand coding.
