MapleSim Control Design Toolbox

This update to the MapleSim Control Design Toolbox is available to all users who have the MapleSim 3 version of this toolbox.

This update provides enhancements in a variety of areas, including:

  • Performance: Efficiency improvements have been made to the Control Design Toolbox routines.
  • Functionality:
    • Enhancements to the Kalman and LQR routines
    • Improved handling of larger symbolic expressions
    • Enhancements to the discrete version of the LQRDiscrete command
  • Help Pages: More examples have been added to help pages.

We recommend that all users install this update.

Who is entitled to this update?
This update is available to all users of the MapleSim 3 version of the MapleSim Control Design Toolbox. Whether or not you need the update depends on when your version of the toolbox was created.

To determine which version of connector you have, look in the Help>About MapleSim dialog box. In the Toolbox Ids section, find the Build ID for the MapleSim Control Design Toolbox. If the Build ID for that toolbox is 444743 or higher, you already have this update, and no further action is required. If the Build ID is less than 444743, you should install this update.

How do I get this update?
From the Tools menu in MapleSim 3, select Check for Updates, and follow the instructions. Upon completion, you will have the latest version of the MapleSim Control Design Toolbox.
