In this 2-day course, you will receive a comprehensive overview of the COMSOL’s CFD module and how it can be coupled with other physics to perform multiphysics analyses. You will also be guided through hands-on exercises for different types of fluid mechanics problems.

By the end of the training session, you will know how to set up a CFD model, choose the right boundary conditions, select appropriate postprocessing options, and use the result visualization tools. Additionally, you will learn how to prepare your geometry or CAD file for CFD analysis and how to build a mesh that is well suited for fluid flow simulations.

A certificate will be given after you have completing the training course.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This course is intended for engineers or researchers who want to learn how to perform CFD analyses and run multiphysics simulations where fluid flow is important. It is suitable for new users of COMSOL’s CFD Module.

PRE-REQUISITES

This course assumes some familiarity with the basic concepts of fluid flow and heat transfer. We strongly recommend that those new to COMSOL Multiphysics take 2-Day COMSOL Multiphysics Intensive Training course prior to attending this class.
